From the Yellow Stunt team: "Yo Gordo, It's Zach Lewis from the Yellow Designs Stunt Team and we were up in Winter Park this past weekend for the Fat Tire Classic and had to see what was going on with the Crankworx course, so check it. After our shows we went up and did a little bit of photo shooting. Just thought you might like to see the first feature getting some love. Thanks for the giant Littermag decal. We made good use of it. -Zach" www.yellowdesigns.com
It's rad when you're at a quality bike shop and the Intense rep shows up with the 2009 Intense Tracer prototype bikes. 5.5 or 6 inches of adjustable travel, not heavy and handmade in the U.S. of A. Mama like. More pics if you read on...
The SolVista Bike Park will be open for a full day on Friday July 4th. The lifts will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and lift tickets will be $20. Get outta town and get your shred on. A new trail is open and more features and stunts are being added this week. www.bikesolvista.com.
So basically the low-down is this: the fellas at SolVista are throwing down a right proper mustache growing contest, to be held at the Sol Survivor August 1-3. Not exactly sure how the judging is gonna work out, but I'm pretty sure it'll be a mix of staff judging and crowd participation. Gettum started, boys (and girls)!
Oh, I'm sorry...you can't read this hand-signed World Cup Leader's jersey from Anneke Beerten? Don't worry, it just says, "for spomer, my favorite cyber man!" - oh yes.
FYI, the official last better in the OTB Pool is "Alabama Hot Pocket." I was at SolVista enjoying some schralping and shooting and couldn't close betting, but don't worry, we know who the snakes are. Way to go Gee and Rachel!
I'll fix that stuff later today and will figure out who won some of my dirty socks.
When you go to SolVista this weekend, bring your hardtail, too. The pumptrack will be done, Edgar is back and all kinds of other goodness is waiting. Some pics have been added at www.bikesolvista.com
